A (growing, I promise!) list of resources and tools I personally like and use. :)
It's basically a handy overview of my fandom resources and resources tags here on Dreamwidth.

Fandom-site related
- User Scripts and Browser Extensions for Fandom Sites
My long and growing list of unofficial addons that make fandom sites work the way you want, whether you want to hide content or highlight it. - AO3 Work Skin Helper CodePen
An easier way of creating and testing work skins, created byvex_verlain. You can find their post with instructions and details here on Dreamwidth.
- Docs to Markdown
Extension for Google Docs that can convert your doc to HTML with the click of a button (well, two buttons). Super convenient for those of us who prefer pasting fic to AO3's HTML editor. - Gradient Text Generator
Not the most elegant solution, but it's doing its job. I don't know who made this one, and I don't remember where I found it, but I've been using it for over a year now to make gradient text for Tumblr posts. You have to switch the post editor to HTML before you paste the gradient text. You can switch back to Rich Text afterwards. - Find Tags for Tumblr
Working alternative to whatever Tumblr has going on with tag search. Lots of useful features. Definitely try this one when you can't find what you're looking for. - Alphabetizer - Alphabetize any list... and more
Incredibly useful when you need to alphabetise long lists, or add or remove something before or after each word. This tool helped me with Yuletide's massive tag list for the Yuletide bingo, and I've been using it for almost every Perchance project. It's great! Bonus points for looking like the old internet.
Writing Craft
- Fanfiction Writing Masterclass (Lifetime)
1.8 GB of worksheets, plot templates, and videos. This used to be a premium course that was made available for free three years ago, before the site that offered it went offline forever.
Organisation and Motivation
- Forest
Forest is a pomodoro app that is intended to keep you from using your phone while you need to focus on a task. You can disable that functionality if you need to. I use it for keeping track of time worked on tasks, and for self-motivation. Nothing motivates me more than seeing the size of the forest I grew last week, last month, or last year. - Habitica
Habitica is a habit and routine builder that relies on gamification and turns your life into an RPG! You can set habits you want to establish, or give yourself daily or weekly for only certain days returning tasks, or use the to-do list function for one time tasks. Everything can be grouped by topic and tagged. There are groups and communities (guilds) you can join to work on habits together.
Background Sounds
- Ambient Chaos
Fun background sound generator with normal options such as rain or coffee shop, and many unusual options such as medieval battle or zombie invasion. Perfect for writers who want to immerse themselves in their scenes. - Lo-Fi Air Traffic Control
Mix lo-fi music with either a random airport's air traffic control, or choose your favourite airport. You can change the volumes of the music and the ATC, in case the default volumes aren't to your liking. - TreeFM
Listen to random forests from all over the world. The recordings are looped. This lovely Fiji forest is one of my favourites.
