Coding/generator rambles?

I've been working on a few minor and major updates for my prompt generators, mainly to distract me from the fact that I have no idea how to make something work in a stupid little game I'm working on.
The original idea was to let the problem percolate in the background while I work on stuff I know how to implement, which would've been a great idea... If I hadn't let so much time pass that I'm having trouble finding my way back into my own code. Glad I commented a lot, but I'm still having a "what the fuck is this supposed to do again?" moment every other line. Fun fun!
I still don't know how to implement the thing I wanted to implement when I left off, and I really don't want to leave it out. Looks like this one needs to percolate some more. (:
Another shits-and-giggles project, the text message prompt generator, partially broke for no god-damn reason at all. xD
I swear it had a working clock that displayed the user's current time. I haven't touched this part of the code, and now it's not working in any browser on any device I try.
This is so rude and clear evidence that JavaScript hates me, personally.
I'd love to finish this thing and share the finished version with my fandom, but not the boring version without the working clock. :(
So, instead of facing this mess, I'm working on an overhaul for the Hitman Smut Generator.
There's so much smutty stuff I've added to the normal prompt generator that I basically only need to copy over (and remove the NSFW checkbox requirement). It's been over a year since the last smut generator update (if we don't count the much-needed accessibility update and reroll-any-detail-separately update in January), about time to make it a little more varied. I've also been thinking about adding a list of kinks for another randomised optional extra. :)
I also really need to fix the colour scheme for the smut generator. When working on my ridiculous generator overview page, I noticed in the desaturated screenshot that the contrast between background colour and title colour is basically non-existent. That's not good. I need to figure out if there's a way to make it accessible without ditching the bright red, and without making the background lighter.
But that's a problem for Weekend-Diana. :D
The RSS feeds for both prompt generators broke again a few times since January, and it always took a few days until they were back on. I had a month's worth of posts in the smut generator's queue, because I used to add the mature community label before publishing them, so that wasn't that much of an issue at least. (Not that it would've been a real issue otherwise, let's be realistic here,
hitmansmut has 15 followers if we don't count myself, but still. xD)
I stopped adding the community labels after I noticed that Tumblr had marked the whole blog as "mature content". I wanted to avoid that for discoverability, but whatever. Less work for me. :)
